Adele Carr Recruitment is supporting a highly respected and well-established organisation on the Wirral who are looking to appoint a qualified Commercial Accountant on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. This is a varied, high-profile role offering real exposure to senior stakeholders across the business. The Role
- This is a commercially focused position combining analysis, financial modelling and business partnering.
- Partnering with senior stakeholders and budget holders, providing financial insight and challenge.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting processes.
- Building and maintaining robust financial models to support planning and decision-making.
- Producing clear, insightful management information and performance analysis.
- Using data tools to gather, manipulate and present complex information in a meaningful way.
- Supporting strategic initiatives and ad hoc commercial analysis.
The Ideal Applicant
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
- Strong commercial finance experience in a stakeholder-facing role.
- Advanced Excel capability and practical experience using VBA, SQL and Power BI for data extraction, automation and reporting.
- Confident communicator able to present financial insight to non-finance stakeholders.
- Organised, delivery-focused and comfortable working to defined timelines.
