This key role contributes to the effective day-to-day management of the firm's financial activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal accounting regulations. - Complete daily banking duties and bank reconciliations.
- Issue and post cheques.
- Manage all accounts posting and assist with month-end routines and reporting.

- Download and post daily bank statement entries.
- Maintain and utilise online banking systems effectively.
- Input and monitor legal aid claims (where applicable).
- Work with legal case management systems.
- Provide financial support to fee earners and management teams.
- Ensure compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules (SRA).
Key Requirements:
- Experience as Assistant Accountant, Legal Cashier, Legal Accounts Clerk, Finance Assistant, or similar.
- Background in legal or wider professional services.
- Highly accurate with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Organised, proactive, and confident in managing competing priorities.
