Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co is an independent, multi-disciplinary design studio that specialises in storytelling, often through space and materiality, founded and led by Tolù Adẹ̀kọ́, Creative Director. Stories are powerful, and strong brands are built around them. We make every brand experience unique and successful by telling its own memorable story by exploring palettes of materials, colours, and moods.
Creative Social Media Assistant
Location: Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co. Studio, Design District, London (with flexible hybrid options)
Working Hours: 2–3 days per week, 09:30 – 17:30
Duration: 3–6 months (Sandwich Placement / Internship)
Compensation: Paid placement – London Living Wage / Travel & Lunch Allowance
Reporting To: PR & Communications Lead / Creative Director
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity for a design student or recent graduate with a passion for architecture, interiors, and social media. You'll support the day-to-day running of our digital channels and help build engaging content around luxury design, studio life, and educational initiatives. In addition to learning how a strategic design studio communicates across platforms, you'll also help shape a new educational project focused on inspiring future architects and designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning, writing, and scheduling content across Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok
- Assist with the coordination of content shoots, interviews, and behind-the-scenes storytelling
- Research design and architecture trends to inform content calendars
- Support the development of a new digital platform aimed at aspiring architecture students
- Contribute to newsletters, outreach, and digital marketing campaigns
About You
- Studying Architecture, Interior Architecture, Design Communications, or a related subject
- Strong written and visual communication skills
- Confident using Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest
- Some experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress or Elementor (or willing to learn)
- Deep interest in luxury interiors, design, and architectural storytelling
- Curious about education, mentoring, and making design more accessible
- Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
- A self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, creative environment

Must be available to work Monday-Friday, 09:30 – 18:00, 2 days on site in the London studio and 1 day remote. Ideal candidate based in London. Passion for design, architecture and property. Proficiency across Microsoft Office is essential. Organised, detail-oriented, and a great communicator - both in person and online. Ability to excel at working in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are integral to these internships. Immediate start - 6-month internship.
