Location: Yate

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £13.90 per hour

End Date: March 2027

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, Hybrid

About the Role:

As an HR Administrator, you will be the cornerstone of employment processes, ensuring that every change to an employee's terms is handled with precision and care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing Changes: Accurately manage all employment changes, from new starters to leavers.
  • Documentation: Issue essential documents related to starters, leavers, and contract variations.
  • Pre-employment Checks: Conduct thorough checks in line with safer recruitment guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with payroll and support the Casework & Change team in processing correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear guidance and support to customers on HR processes and procedures.
  • Maintain and analyse records, databases, and documents.
  • Resolve routine problems and recommend alternative actions when necessary.
  • Assist in monitoring budgets and financial information.

About You:

We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in an HR life cycle administration role, where you have followed processes and procedures and understand the interface between HR, customers and payroll functions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus in your approach to process and issue resolution.
  • Proficiency in the use of HR and Payroll systems, and other Microsoft software, e.g. Excel.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ 2 or 3, GCSEs grades C or above, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

  • Practical experience in HR administration and a proven track record of resolving day-to-day issues.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Problem-Solving Skills:

  • An understanding of relevant regulations and codes of practice.
