Adecco have a requirement for a Yard Driver (vans)/Handyperson to join our client's team based in Sandbach. This is a varied role supporting day to day operations, where you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks around site and also moving vehicles around the yard to work areas and parking them up. For this role it is essential that you have a Full UK Drivers License.
This is a temporary ongoing role which may lead to a permanent position.
Key responsibilities:- Carry out general maintenance tasks which may include minor repairs, painting and weeding
- Disposing of waste on site
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly working environment, reporting of any defects
- Safely move and position vehicles within the yard
- Conduct basic vehicle checks before movement
- Ensure vehicles are parked correctly and securely
- Follow all site safety rules and traffic management procedures
