What You'll Do:

As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality products and ensuring they meet stringent standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembly Responsibilities:
    • Assemble products and sub-assemblies following approved work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
    • Carry out conventional hand assembly of cases, housings, and small components.
    • Prepare assemblies in line with production plans and priorities.
    • Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs) using through-hole and surface mount components according to drawings and BOMs.
    • Perform manual soldering to IPC standards.
    • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds, including prototype and pre-production assemblies.
  • Encapsulation Responsibilities:
    • Operate equipment such as resin dispensing machines, vacuum chambers, and ovens according to documented procedures.
    • Prepare electronic assemblies for encapsulation by:
      • Cleaning and priming PCBs.
      • Surface preparation of small metal components.
      • Assembling piece parts.
      • Preparing materials for coating and encapsulation.
  • Stores & Material Handling Support (As Required):
    • Provide cover for stores activities to support production continuity.
    • Pick, kit, and issue components to works orders following procedures.
    • Accurately record material movements to maintain traceability.
    • Handle ESD-sensitive and controlled materials with care.
