Are you ready to take on an exciting role in the aerospace industry? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Master Data Planner to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-stakes environment where precision and accuracy are paramount.

Summary:

  • Start date: September 2026
  • Duration: 6 months ongoing
  • Location: Wolverhampton or Remote - will need to visit the site occasionally
  • Pay Rate: £27.20 per hour
  • Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Management: Create, maintain, and update master data for materials, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and planning parameters to ensure seamless operations.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across ERP and planning systems by performing regular audits and data validation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance teams to support planning and operational requirements, facilitating effective communication and documentation throughout all processes.
  • Change Management: Lead and facilitate Engineering Change implementations to drive compliance with agreed standards.
  • Audit and Compliance: Drive quarterly BOM audits within sites and annual make-part lead time reviews, ensuring all processes meet regulatory and organisational standards.

Activities Include:

  • Review Master Data Change Request workflows and route to stakeholders as necessary, entering updates to SIOP - facilitated fields in the Material Master.
  • Update serialisation, shelf-life, and maintenance requirements via the Master Data Change Request Workflow.
  • Assess the inventory impact of Engineering Change requests, setting Change Order effectivity dates and calculating inventory values.
  • Review Data Integrity dashboards for new materials, creating Quality Workflows as needed and updating SAP to reflect current status.
  • Support Finance in standard cost-setting activities through error review and resolution, promoting data integrity compliance and dashboard reviews.
