Working Hours & Flexibility: Standard working hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm, including a 1-hour paid lunch break. During busy periods, shifts will be rota-based between 7:00am - 7:00pm. There is an expectation for overtime to support increased workload when required. Weekend work will be required during peak periods and may be ad-hoc depending on business needs.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead operations within a fast-paced and technical environment supporting the events industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in events, production, rental, or logistics, who thrives in a hands-on role managing both people and processes.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring equipment is efficiently managed, maintained, and prepared to a high standard to support successful event delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all day-to-day warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and inventory management
  • Manage multiple workflows, prioritising tasks during busy dispatch and return periods
  • Lead, train, and develop a warehouse team, ensuring best practices are followed
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using management systems (training provided where needed)
  • Coordinate preparation and de-preparation of equipment for upcoming projects
  • Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with Health & Safety standards
  • Monitor and improve KPIs, including equipment readiness and operational accuracy
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management role within a fast-paced environment
  • Background within events, production, logistics, or equipment rental
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Health & Safety regulations
  • Good IT skills and experience with inventory systems
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities

Desirable:

  • Experience working with KPIs and performance management
  • Proven ability to improve operational efficiency within a warehouse setting
