Adecco are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to support our client on a temporary basis for the next 3 - 4 months. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to customers primarily in the North West with occasional travel to Wales. In this role you can expect to complete up to 7 drops/collections per day and you will be required to drive a 3.5 tonne van. Full UK Driving License required and the role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
Key Responsibilities- Complete multiple daily deliveries and collections
- Follow routes and adhere to delivery schedules
- Loading and unloading of the van
- Use of handheld scanner
- Ensure all goods are delivered safely and in excellent condition
- Obtain proof of delivery (signatures/electronic confirmation)
- Provide a high level of customer service at each delivery point
- Complete relevant paperwork and delivery records accurately
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous multi drop delivery experience desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
