Overview
We're looking for a hands-on Business Analyst to join a high-impact transformation project within a large, complex organisation. This is a time-critical role focused on delivering a robust controls and process framework by year-end. You'll take ownership of key activities, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure critical processes, risks, and controls are clearly defined and documented. Responsibilities
- Review and take ownership of an existing gap analysis and activity plan
- Prioritise and deliver key process and controls improvements
- Engage stakeholders to map and understand:
- End-to-end processes
- Risks and controls
- Produce high-quality:
- Process documentation
- Policies and procedures
- Controls documentation
- Support implementation and optimisation of controls within systems
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
- Drive stakeholder engagement, sign-off, and adoption
- Contribute to training and guidance for wider teams
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in process-driven environments
- Strong background in process mapping, documentation, and analysis
- Experience working with risk, controls, or governance frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and deliver at pace
- Experience working within large or complex organisations
Desirable
- Exposure to finance or transformation programmes
- Experience with controls systems or platforms (e.g. Workiva)
- Familiarity with automation or AI tools to support documentation
