Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Senior Python / Automation Engineer to join their talented team! This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of enterprise-grade automation while leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies.


About the Role


As a Senior Python / Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing productivity through automation across various functions. You'll be at the forefront of integrating AI selectively to add value to existing automation processes.


What You'll Do



  • Develop and maintain robust automation solutions that streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to extend existing agent-based solutions and RAG implementations.

  • Take ownership of the full software lifecycle: build, deploy, monitor, and tune solutions in a live environment.

  • Ensure production maturity by transitioning solutions from proof of concept to fully operational systems.

  • Apply your knowledge of AI concepts pragmatically within a primarily automation-focused environment.


Required



  • Experience: Software engineering with strong expertise in Python development.

  • AI Knowledge: Familiarity with LLMs and Generative AI solutions, along with frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in API design and integration, SQL, data processing, Git, and CI/CD practises.

  • Production Focus: A solid engineering mindset with the capability to extend existing automation rather than starting from scratch.


Desired Qualifications



  • Experience with RAG architecture implementation and vector databases.

  • Exposure to Azure AI and OpenAI technologies.

  • Familiarity with enterprise workflow automation and agentic AI frameworks.
