We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our dynamic manufacturing operation in Hull. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of warehouse operatives, including order pickers and FLT drivers, across a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing warehouse team to meet operational targets.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including order picking, goods in/out, and stock movements.
- Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management using internal systems.
- Coordinate deliveries and liaise with transport and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure compliance with site procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a warehouse leadership role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Reach Truck license desired but not essential.
- Strong people management and coaching skills.
- In-date mechanical handling equipment licences (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach) preferred.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Flexible to work across a rotating shift pattern.
