Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Paisley Remuneration: £12.65 per hour Contract Details: Temp To Perm Responsibilities: Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operative! Here\’s what you\’ll be doing: Perform warehousing tasks in line with SOPs, GMP standards, PPI processes, and 5S principles. Operate semi-automated and automated equipment efficiently. prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet daily operational targets. Conduct safety checks on mechanical equipment, including Reach and Counterbalance forklifts. utilise your computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and leverage ERP system experience (preferred). Maintain high housekeeping standards and a safe working environment. Communicate effectively across teams to foster collaboration. Proactively suggest improvements and take ownership of your actions. Perform additional duties as needed in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Requirements: Are you the one we\’re looking for? Here\’s what you need: Valid Counterbalance forklift licence. Experience within warehousing in a Manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP system experience is a plus. Excellent communication and time management skills. Flexibility to work overtime and alternative shifts if required. Working Conditions: Work in a varied warehouse environment, including ambient, cold room (2-8°C), and freezer (-15 to -20°C). Manual handling of loads up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods. Safe handling of chemicals and hazardous materials. Team & Culture: Be part of a collaborative team structure. Dress code: standard warehouse attire with PPE.
