Adult Social Care & Public Health - Transformation and Digital
Richmond & Wandsworth Shared Staffing Arrangement
Pay: £20.76 per hour (PAYE) | £27.07 per hour (Umbrella)
Hours: PART TIME - 21 hours per week (part time)
Flexible pattern - 3 days per week, with the option to spread hours across 5 days
On-site: Wednesdays every week, other days (with flexibility)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking local authority service where your communications skills will directly support Adult Social Care and Public Health - helping residents access vital information and supporting staff to deliver excellent services.
As a Communications Assistant, you'll be part of the Transformation and Digital team, working across two London boroughs and contributing to high-quality, accessible communications that make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting day-to-day internal and external communications, including weekly staff newscasts
- Helping maintain the communications forward plan, coordinating updates and key messages
- Assisting with communications for projects, services, initiatives and campaigns
- Supporting the creation and upkeep of Adult Social Care information and advice content, ensuring it is clear, accessible and meets statutory requirements
- Working closely with corporate communications teams and supporting events (room bookings, materials, attendee lists)
- Providing practical and administrative support such as drafting copy, formatting documents, and maintaining templates and contact lists
- Assisting with basic monitoring and reporting, including metrics, feedback and spend tracking where relevant
