We are seeking a skilled Finance Data Migration Specialist to support a major Oracle ERP transformation programme. This role is critical in delivering high-quality migration of Finance data from Unit4 (Agresso/CHIME) into Oracle ERP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with the agreed migration strategy.

You'll play a key role in mapping, extracting, transforming, and validating financial data while working closely with cross-functional teams including Finance SMEs and technical delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and map Unit4 Finance data structures to Oracle ERP migration templates
  • Develop and maintain SQL views within the Unit4 development environment
  • Execute data extraction, validation, and reconciliation processes
  • Identify, document, and track data quality issues (e.g. missing data, duplicates, incorrect references)
  • Support migration cycles (including DM1) by preparing datasets and templates
  • Collaborate with: Data Migration teams, Finance SMEs, Delivery partners (e.g. Embridge, Mastek)
  • Ensure compliance with: GDPR and data protection standards
  • Secure staging and data transfer protocols
  • Maintain clear documentation for auditability and traceability
Key Skills & Experience
  • Essential
  • Strong hands-on experience with Unit4 (Agresso), particularly Finance data structures
  • Proven experience in ERP data migration, with a Finance focus
  • Strong understanding of core Finance domains: General Ledger, Accounts Payable / Receivable (Suppliers & Customers), Chart of Accounts and Cost Centres
  • Desirable
  • Advanced SQL development and data extraction capabilities
  • Experience working with Oracle ERP migration templates
  • Background in regulated environments (GDPR, data security)
  • Experience within higher education or complex, multi-entity organisations
Deliverables / Success Criteria

You will be successful in this role if you can:

  • Deliver accurate Finance data mappings and SQL outputs
  • Produce reconciled datasets aligned to Unit4 source data
  • Identify and manage data quality issues with clear remediation plans
  • Contribute to the successful execution of data migration cycles (DM1)
  • Consistently adhere to security, GDPR, and data handling standards
