What You'll Be Doing:
As a Library Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our library's mission to provide exceptional service to our community. Your responsibilities will include:
- Stock Selection: utilise reading lists to curate a diverse and engaging collection.
- Stock Acquisition: Work with Edifact to manage stock acquisition through our suppliers and library infrastructure.
- Customer Support: Assist with inquiries and provide exceptional service to our library patrons.
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous or current experience working in libraries, preferably in an academic setting.
- A knack for front-facing customer service, ready to assist and engage with library users.
- Strong teamwork skills, as collaboration is key to our success.
- A degree qualification in any subject - while a background in Librarianship is a bonus, it's not a must!
