Warehouse FLT Operative £16.97 per hour | Overtime £22.06 per hour | 6-Month Temporary Contract | Immediate Starts Available We're recruiting on behalf of a leading international manufacturer and recognised employer of choice in the local area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced FLT Drivers to join a busy and supportive warehouse team on an ongoing temporary contract. Alternating weekly shifts: 6:00am to 2:00pm 10:00am to 6:00pm 5 days from 7 working pattern Average 36-hour working week Overtime and weekend working may be required The Role Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for: Operating FLT equipment safely and efficiently Loading, unloading and moving raw materials and finished goods Preparing and dispatching orders accurately and on time Recording stock movements using warehouse systems Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping Essential Requirements Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent) Minimum 1-2 years' experience operating FLT trucks within a warehouse or manufacturing environment Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication, numeracy and basic IT skills Flexible approach to shifts, overtime and weekend working Desirable Additional FLT licences such as Reach Truck, PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) or VNA Previous manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience Experience using warehouse management systems Pre-Employment Checks Please note that all offers are subject to: Basic DBS check 5 years' employment referencing Pre-employment medical assessment What's On Offer? £16.97 per hour Overtime paid at £22.06 per hour Immediate starts available Average 36-hour week Modern manufacturing environment Opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation 6-month temporary contract with potential for further opportunitiesIf you're an experienced FLT Driver looking for your next opportunity with a respected and established employer, we'd love to hear from you.
