Print Machine Operator (Platen Operator) Contract Details: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 40 hours per week, rotating shifts: ~06:00am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday (30 mins lunch break) ~2:00pm - Midnight, Monday to Thursday (40 mins lunch break) Salary: £27,040 - £39,520 per annum (£13.00 - £19.00 per hour), depending on experience 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays ~ Company pension scheme ~ Free onsite parking ~ Summer and Christmas company events ~ Ongoing training and development opportunities My client is looking for a Platen Operator to join their skilled production team in Thame. Set up, operate, and maintain platen presses to produce high-quality printed products Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure optimum quality and efficiency Interpret job tickets, artwork layouts, and production specifications accurately Conduct routine quality and safety checks Identify and resolve minor machine and quality issues Work closely with production, design, and quality teams to ensure customer requirements are met Maintain excellent housekeeping standards around machinery and work areas Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity Previous experience operating platen presses or similar print finishing equipment is highly beneficial, although training will be provided Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to read and interpret production specifications and job instructions Experience within a commercial print, packaging, or manufacturing environment Relevant training, apprenticeship, or qualifications in print or manufacturing UV Lithographic Print Production Processes If you are interested in this wonderful job opportunity, please apply via this job site or reach out to Adecco Aylesbury on .
