Overview
Job Title: Temporary Receptionist
Location: St Andrews
Remuneration: £12.40 per hour
Contract Details: Temporary (Approx. 4 Months)
Shift Details: 4 days a week, rota varies per week. Business opening hours are 9am-5:30pm on Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm on Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Be the First Point of Contact: Answer incoming calls promptly, directing inquiries to the right team members.
- Welcome Visitors: Greet patients and visitors with a warm, professional demeanour that ensures a positive first impression.
- Manage Appointments: Handle bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling using internal systems efficiently.
- Payment Processing: Manage cash and card transactions, issue receipts, and maintain precise financial records.
- Confidentiality Matters: Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality is upheld at all times.
- Support Administrative Tasks: Assist with scanning, photocopying, and data entry to keep operations running smoothly.
- Stock Management: Monitor and request replenishments for front desk supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with Teams: Liaise with internal staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Maintain Professionalism: Keep the reception area tidy and organised to reflect a professional environment.
