Adecco is recruiting for a Warehouse/Senior Operator (FLT) to join our onsite client in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with a valid Counterbalance FLT licence who is looking to take on a senior operational role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role

As a Warehouse/Senior Operator, you will support the safe and efficient running of warehouse operations, coordinating day-to-day activities while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, delivery, and performance are maintained. You will work closely with Team Leaders and warehouse colleagues, providing operational support, guidance, and cover where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities to meet operational targets
  • Receive, store, move, pick, and dispatch goods accurately
  • Complete stock checks and investigate discrepancies
  • Generate pick lists and maintain warehouse documentation
  • Support production and dispatch operations to minimise disruption
  • Assist with training and supporting warehouse team members
  • Promote Health & Safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide operational cover for Team Leaders when required
  • Ensure warehouse standards, stock accuracy, and compliance procedures are maintained

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck licence
  • Previous warehouse and logistics experience
  • Strong understanding of stock control and warehouse processes
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and warehouse systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
