Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, 35 hours ASAP Start About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Repairs Support Officer to provide a technically informed and customer-focused service for residents reporting housing repairs.
You will use your repairs diagnostic knowledge to accurately identify issues, raise and allocate repair jobs, liaise with contractors, and ensure repairs are progressed efficiently from initial contact through to completion.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in social housing repairs and contact centre operations, who can combine excellent customer service skills with strong technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose and assess housing repair issues through effective questioning and technical knowledge.
Raise, record and allocate repair jobs to the appropriate contractors or technical teams.
Monitor repair progress and support the management of work in progress.
Manage and reconcile variation orders and maintain accurate records.
Communicate clearly with residents, providing updates and explanations throughout the repair process.
