Technical Business Analyst** (Contract)\\n\\nDuration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)\\n\\nLocation: London/Hybrid (2 – 3 days on site)\\n\\nRate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates\\n\\nRole Profile\\n\\nWe are seeking a skilled Technical Functional Analyst to support the design and delivery of our Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) software solution/platform.\\n\\nThis pivotal role will see you enhancing software while serving as the essential liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your mission will be to ensure that functional requirements are not only clearly defined but also technically feasible and aligned with our long-term product development goals.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nAnalyse complex business problems and identify opportunities for improvement.\\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new software development.\\nPartner with architects and developers to design scalable and maintainable solutions that meet business needs.\\nConfigure systems and create prototypes to validate requirements and aid in development.\\nProduce and maintain crucial artefacts such as functional specifications, data flow diagrams, interface definitions, and user stories.\\nWork closely with vendors and internal developers during build phases to clarify requirements and ensure design alignment.\\nDefine test criteria, support system integration testing (SIT), and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for capitalizable features.\\nAssess the impact of proposed changes on existing systems and processes, focusing on capitalizable development work.\\nEngage with internal customers (GTBD & CPD) to gather information necessary for new solution designs.\\nRecommend ways to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.\\nCollaborate with cross-functional Agile teams, including product owners and stakeholders.\\nConduct industry and competitor research to support informed product decisions.\\nProvide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and dependencies. \\n\\nKnowledge & Experience Required:\\n\\nProven experience in business analysis within a financial institution, particularly in SCA and fraud domain regulatory change programs.\\nStrong understanding of SCA principles and implementation under PSD2, with awareness of upcoming PSD3 regulatory impacts.\\nHands-on experience with IT application projects related to SCA, fraud detection, payment systems, or regulatory compliance.\\nFamiliarity with regulatory frameworks and operational readiness for initiatives like SEPA Instant Payments (SEPA IP), VOP, and EBA/ECB guidelines.\\nExposure to SCA & fraud analytics, including device anomaly detection and risk profiling.\\nProven ability to translate regulatory and fraud risk requirements into clear business and technical specifications.\\nProficiency in BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SNOW.
