An established and growing manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to take ownership of purchasing, inventory, and supplier management across operations. This is a broad, hands-on role offering real influence across the business. You'll work cross-functionally with production, commercial, and finance teams to ensure material availability, control costs, and improve supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier relationships including negotiation, performance review, and supplier audits
  • Oversee purchasing of raw materials, consumables, and services in a cost-effective manner
  • Ensure optimal stock levels to meet production and customer demand
  • Manage inventory control processes including stock reviews, physical checks, and valuations
  • Coordinate import processes and ensure correct documentation and compliance
  • Negotiate and manage service-based contracts
  • Collaborate with production and commercial teams to align supply with demand forecasts
  • Produce and analyse data reports to support business decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with relevant storage and safety regulations
