Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, assessing, and overseeing structural projects across a range of sectors. You\βll work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze structural components for buildings, infrastructure, or industrial projects
Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated design solutions
Ensure designs meet relevant codes, standards, and client requirements
Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Proven experience in structural design and analysis
Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., Tekla, AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, or similar)
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and Eurocodes
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Desirable
Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE)
Experience in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry design
