Our client is seeking a talented Communications & Engagement Specialist to join their organisation on a 12‑month contract. This role offers the chance to shape communication strategy, drive engagement initiatives, support leadership messaging, and lead impactful internal events within a fast‑moving and highly collaborative environment. Based full‑time on site in Gaydon, Warwickshire, this position is ideal for an experienced communications professional who enjoys translating complex information into clear, engaging content and fostering a connected, informed culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal Communications Strategy & Delivery: Develop and execute a clear and engaging internal communications strategy; Create high‑quality messaging across multiple channels; Maintain editorial consistency and drive communication improvements.
- Leadership Communication Support: Produce scripts, talking points, slides, and briefing packs; Advise leaders on messaging, tone and audience engagement.
- Change Communications: Translate process, system and organisational changes into clear, accessible narratives; Work with internal champions to support communication and adoption.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, IT and wider business teams to ensure aligned, cohesive messaging; Support multi‑team initiatives with strategic communication planning.
- Event Planning & Delivery: Lead and deliver Town Halls, learning sessions and engagement events; Coordinate content, speakers and logistics.
- Supplier Communication Support: Manage and update supplier distribution lists; Support supplier‑related communication and event delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
- Essential Background: Proven experience in internal communications; Experience planning and delivering departmental or organisational events; Ability to manage multiple communication channels (SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, etc.); Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills; High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint; Ability to create engaging video content for internal use.
