We are currently seeking an experienced Stores Person to join our client's dynamic team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and thrive in a role that involves receiving goods, dispatching materials, and managing inventory, then this opportunity is for you! Responsibilities:
- Receive goods in warehouses and ensure they are accurately documented
- Handle all deliveries to the organisation and despatch materials or goods to their destinations
- Maintain inventory records and ensure stock locations and quantities are correct
- Assist with the despatch operative by checking materials before leaving the warehouse
- Clearly document information and effectively communicate with other teams regarding deliveries and stock
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to keep track of inventory
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with other teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Flexibility and willingness to help out wherever needed
- A positive and proactive approach to work
This is a full-time position, offering a temp to perm contract. Our client is looking for someone who is a forward thinker and doesn’t restrict themselves to their job description. They value staff who chip in and take the initiative to help out, wherever it is needed.
Working hours are 39 per week: 7:25 - 4:30 - Mon- Thurs and 7:30 - 1:10 - Fri with 45 minutes for lunch.
