The predicted salary is between 29250 - 35750 £ per year.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Health & Safety administration, operations coordination or manufacturing administration who is looking to take ownership of Health & Safety processes whilst supporting wider operational activities.
Working closely with management and operational teams, you will play a key role in maintaining Health & Safety records, supporting audits and investigations, monitoring training compliance and helping to promote a positive safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update Health & Safety documentation, risk assessments, safe systems of work and compliance records.
- Support Health & Safety audits, site inspections and compliance activities.
- Assist with accident, incident and near miss reporting, ensuring actions are tracked and completed.
- Monitor employee training records, certifications and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate Health & Safety inductions and training administration.
- Assist with reviewing and updating company policies and procedures.
- Produce Health & Safety and operational reports for management.
- Manage maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved safely and efficiently.
- Support project scheduling and coordination activities.
- Process customer orders accurately and maintain internal systems and databases.
- Liaise with production, engineering, sales and administration teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Previous experience in an Administration, Operations, Compliance, Health & Safety Support or Coordinator role.
- Experience maintaining Health & Safety records, documentation and compliance systems.
- Understanding of risk assessments, incident reporting and workplace safety procedures.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach with a genuine interest in Health & Safety and operational excellence.
- Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
- IOSH, NEBOSH or another Health & Safety qualification (or working towards one).
- Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
- Knowledge of contractor management, permits to work or training compliance.
- Exposure to ISO standards or management systems.
- Competitive salary of £30,000 + DOE
