- Salary: £24,507.16 per annum (approximately £13.47 per hour)
- Hours: 35 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm
- Company Van: Available in applicable locations and can be taken home for commuting

About the Role
As a Ground Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining outdoor communal areas to a high standard, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and attractive for residents and visitors. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys physical work, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- General grounds maintenance across hard and soft landscaped areas
- Grass cutting and hedge maintenance
- Litter picking and maintaining site cleanliness
- Shrub bed maintenance, including weeding and pruning
- Responding to fly-tipping incidents and waste clearance
- Safe operation of grounds maintenance equipment
- Working independently and collaboratively to meet service standards
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience
- Ability to carry out physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
Desirable
- PA1 and PA6 Spraying Licences
These nationally recognised qualifications demonstrate competence in the safe handling and application of pesticides and are particularly useful for vegetation management and weed control activities.
