We are currently recruiting for a Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy and friendly team based in Stevenage. This is a varied role where approximately 60-80% of your time will be spent driving, with the remaining time assisting within the warehouse carrying out picking and packing duties.
Duties:
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Driving stock and fittings between the two warehouses
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Assisting with general warehouse duties
- Maintaining accurate delivery and stock records
- Ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently
Requirements:
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Must be over 30 years old due to company insurance policy
- Category B Licence essential
- Previous driving experience preferred
- Able to do HEAVY lifting
- Comfortable with warehouse and manual handling duties
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail and time management skills
