Key Responsibilities:
- Drive with Purpose: Safely operate a van up to 3.5 tonnes, delivering goods to various locations with precision and care.
- Customer First: Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Handle with Care: Load and unload goods, ensuring they are securely packed and handled responsibly.
- Route Master: Follow delivery schedules and routes as planned to maximise efficiency.
- Vehicle Guardian: Conduct routine vehicle inspections and promptly report any issues to management.
- Record Keeper: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Adhere to Standards: Follow all traffic laws and company policies diligently.
- Warehouse Warrior: Assist with warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and organising inventory.
- Order Expert: Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Cleanliness Champion: Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Inventory Sleuth: Perform regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid driver's licence is essential.
- Proven experience as a van driver or in a similar role.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes.
- A team player who can also work independently.
