We are seeking dedicated and resilient individuals to join our client Surrey Police's investigation teams as PIP1 Investigators. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with police staff and officers, using your skills to investigate various cases that matter.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing your own workload of criminal cases.
- Conducting interviews with suspects and gathering essential evidence.
- Taking witness statements and collecting items for forensic examination.
- Creating comprehensive case files for court proceedings.
- Supporting victims and witnesses by keeping them informed throughout the investigation process.
- Collaborating with solicitors, the Crown Prosecution Service, and various partner agencies.
- Utilising the National Decision Model (NDM) and THRIVE assessment to make informed investigative decisions.
Who We're Looking For:
- PIP1 Investigative Experience: You must have prior experience in a policing investigative role and a solid understanding of investigative tasks.
- Resilience: The work can be emotionally demanding, so we seek candidates who can persevere in the face of adversity and maintain their composure.
- Strong Communicators: You will be the vital link between victims, witnesses, and law enforcement, requiring excellent communication skills.
- Team Players: You'll be working closely with various internal and external partners to achieve the best outcomes.
Additional Information:
You must be available for an 8-week Investigating Officer course in full, with no annual leave permitted during this time. If you cannot attend the next course, you will be placed in a pool for future intakes. Expect a mixture of day and evening shifts, including weekends and bank holidays, along with a role-dependent shift allowance.
