The Purchasing Administrator will be an integral part of the procurement team, helping to ensure materials and services are sourced in a timely and cost-effective manner to support production needs. This role is ideal for a well-organised, proactive individual with strong communication skills and an interest in supply chain or logistics. You will play a key part in keeping production on schedule by coordinating effectively with suppliers and internal departments.

Salary: 27,000 - 29,000

Working Hours: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including sourcing, ordering, and tracking goods
  • Maintain accurate records and process purchase orders using internal systems
  • Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Work closely with production, sales, and accounts teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procedures and industry standards

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing, accounts, or administrative role (manufacturing or logistics environment preferred)
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and logistics coordination is advantageous
