We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our client's busy Residential Conveyancing Team in St Helens. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in residential property who can manage files under supervision while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Conduct title checks, prepare and review contract packs, raise and respond to enquiries, and handle exchange, completion, and post-completion work.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
  • Ensure all work complies with AML regulations, SRA requirements and lender panels.
  • Keep detailed, accurate file notes and utilise the case management system effectively.

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing, either running your own files or supporting a busy caseload.
  • Strong understanding of the conveyancing process, legal documentation and due diligence requirements.
  • CQS experience/registration preferred.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator with a commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
  • Able to work independently with appropriate supervision and support.
  • Experience dealing with leasehold, new build and/or shared ownership transactions.
  • Familiarity with Land Registry portals, LMS, Lender Exchange and digital case management systems.
