We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join our client's busy Residential Conveyancing Team in St Helens. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in residential property who can manage files under supervision while delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
- Conduct title checks, prepare and review contract packs, raise and respond to enquiries, and handle exchange, completion, and post-completion work.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
- Ensure all work complies with AML regulations, SRA requirements and lender panels.
- Keep detailed, accurate file notes and utilise the case management system effectively.
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in residential conveyancing, either running your own files or supporting a busy caseload.
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process, legal documentation and due diligence requirements.
- CQS experience/registration preferred.
- Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- A confident communicator with a commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
- Able to work independently with appropriate supervision and support.
- Experience dealing with leasehold, new build and/or shared ownership transactions.
- Familiarity with Land Registry portals, LMS, Lender Exchange and digital case management systems.
