We are currently recruiting for a Spanish Document Reviewer to work within a Law enforcement organisation based near Charring Cross. Hybrid model, hours 36hrs Monday - Friday. Start asap (pending vetting) for 3 months, with a possible extension. £14.50ph.

This role requires a candidate who is able to speak/read Spanish and English to a high level, as you will be reading documents in Spanish and describing this in detail in English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing documents written in Spanish and describing them in English.
  • Undertake systematic review of documents to determine their relevance to offences under investigation.
  • Contribute to the disclosure process to satisfy the obligations of the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets of data.
  • Conduct searches in the document review system and extract relevant documents.
  • Proofread and edit transcripts of interviews.
  • Attend team meetings and provide updates.
  • Operate flexibly to assist colleagues and Senior Managers as and when required.
  • Ability to read long documents and understand complex and technical information.
  • Ability to analyse, summarise and categorise documents, extracting key information.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
  • Ability to work in a team to strict deadlines.
  • A degree obtained in England and Wales.
  • Previous experience using an eDiscovery Review Platform.
  • Knowledge of the Disclosure process, and the relevant legislation (CPIA).
  • Criminal law experience and/or exposure to economic crime investigations.
