We are partnering with a values-led education provider to hire a proactive HR Adviser who will support leaders and staff across multiple campuses. If you are a confident generalist who loves solving problems, shaping culture, and delivering a first-class HR service, we would love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide clear, compassionate advice on employee relations (conduct, capability, grievances, performance, absence).
  • Track and process probations, absences, payroll/contract changes, and support operational HR activity.
  • Support change initiatives, organisation design, and engagement projects with the HRBP.
  • Champion wellbeing (train as a Mental Health First Aider) and safeguarding (act as/designate Child Protection Officer).
  • Build trusted relationships with managers and present HR updates and insights at all levels.
  • Keep policies compliant, promote EDI, and help drive continuous improvement across HR.

What you’ll bring:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent HR qualification) and 4+ years’ generalist HR experience.
  • Proven ER casework experience in a fast-paced setting.
  • Solid grasp of UK employment law and core HR processes.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and sound judgement.
  • Organised, solutions-focused, discrete - able to juggle priorities.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  • Willing to complete Enhanced DBS, and train as MHFA and Safeguarding/Child Protection Officer.

Nice to have: Education sector experience and familiarity with safeguarding processes.
