Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate CNC Milling Machines, including Bridgeport and Haas models.
- Work with materials like aluminium & stainless steel.
- Coordinate programming and setting activities with existing team members.
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality.
- Reduce scrap and report efficiencies to the Production Manager.
- Maintain machine efficiency to meet On Time Deliveries and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a clean working environment.
Core Skills/Attributes Needed
- Proficient in programming, setting, and running CNC mills.
- Ability to set using Fanuc controls on a 3 and 4 axis mill.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent measurement skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong team player with effective communication skills.
