Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for your next opportunity? Adecco Romford & London East are recruiting for skilled Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy warehouse and yard operation. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidates!
Due to the location of this client and the shift times - it is best suited to applicants with their own transport
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a 4.5 Ton Counterbalance Forklift with triple forks to move, stack and organise pallets
- Load and unload pallet stacks from HGVs and delivery vehicles
- Safely transport and store pallets within the warehouse and yard
- Carry out daily forklift safety checks and basic maintenance where required
- Assist with manual handling and warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
- Previous experience operating heavy-duty forklifts, ideally 4.5 Ton or above
- Experience using double or triple fork attachments would be advantageous
- Good understanding of warehouse operations
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling tasks in a fast-paced environment
