Are you ready to take your quality inspection skills to the next level? Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Incoming Quality Inspector to join their dynamic team at the Electronic Controls and Motor Systems (ECMS) site. If you have a passion for ensuring top-notch quality and compliance, we want to hear from you!

As an Incoming Quality Inspector, you will play a vital role in the inspection of incoming piece parts for R&D electric motors and controllers. Your keen eye for detail will ensure that only the highest quality components make it through the doors.

Pay Rate: £30 - £35.00 per hour via Umbrella

Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 4 days required on site

Inspection Activities:

  • Conduct thorough goods inwards inspections, review dimension reports from suppliers, and segregate non-conforming materials.

Technical Skills:

  • Utilise precision measurement tools (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges) and interpret technical drawings/CAD models effectively.

Compliance:

  • Maintain adherence to customer requirements and AS9100D standards - quality is key!
  • Generate inspection reports, maintain meticulous records, and initiate corrective actions as necessary.

Previous experience in aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, or other regulated industries is required. A strong mechanical or electrical background that you can draw upon in your daily tasks is essential. Proficiency in manual measurement techniques; knowledge of SAP and CMM systems is also needed.
