Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Central Saint Giles, London

Remuneration: £42.31 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary, 6 months, Full Time (Normal business hours, Hybrid working)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, end-to-end software solutions with minimal supervision.
• Write, test, and review code, ensuring adherence to best practices and style guidelines.
• Participate in design discussions, providing input while receiving guidance.
• Identify and resolve technical problems, helping the team navigate challenges.
• Engage with stakeholders to coordinate project timelines and objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise in at least one area beyond core coding, such as security practices or documentation.

Skills/Experience/Education:

• Proficient in code comprehension across core languages and frameworks.
• Experience in redesigning or refactoring code to enhance maintainability.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms to optimize solutions.
• Capable of debugging and fixing technical issues through root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with programming practices and system management tools.
