We are seeking a skilled Software Developer for a 12‑month contract to support projects within a global messaging-focused team. This role involves collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support regulatory requirements, technical integrations, and API‑driven development work. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to operate as a bridge between product teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions with a strong emphasis on API development and integration.
- Integrate large, complex third‑party APIs into existing systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional internal teams and external partners to deliver high‑quality technical solutions.
- Influence product development through technical insights and partner engagement.
- Ensure all deliverables meet required standards for quality, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and integrating APIs, particularly large and complex third‑party APIs.
- Strong background in software development using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Experience working directly with external clients/partners in a technical capacity.
- Ability to independently test, understand, and evaluate API specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Strong engineering background (degrees or certifications beneficial but not mandatory).
