Contract Length: 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research to push the boundaries of machine learning systems.
  • Design innovative methods, tools, and infrastructure to enhance large language models.
  • Collaborate with researchers and cross-functional partners, effectively communicating research plans, progress, and outcomes.
  • Gather and synthesise requirements to create a compelling feature roadmap.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to deliver code and practical solutions.
  • Publish research findings and contribute to the development of impactful products for our client.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, or artificial intelligence.
  • Proven experience in developing machine learning models at scale, including querying and post-training of large language models.
  • Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch.
  • Experience executing complex experiments with large AI models and datasets.
  • Ability to translate research insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience in generative AI and large language model research.
  • PhD or research-focused Master’s degree in machine learning or related areas.
  • Background in physics or mathematics is a plus.
