About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse / PIV Operator to join our busy, well-organised, and safety-focused warehouse team. This role involves order picking, supplying production cells, and carrying out general warehouse operations in a clean, well-lit, and safe environment.
You will work with moderate work direction, identifying issues and escalating where required. The role includes handling customer orders, preparing goods for dispatch, and using various types of FLT and warehouse equipment.
Shift Patterns (Rotating)
- Shift A - Day Shift: Monday-Thursday: 06:00-14:00, Friday: 06:00-12:00
- Shift B - Late Shift: Monday-Thursday: 09:30-18:00, Friday: 08:30-15:00
Pay Rates
- Day Shift: £12.96 per hour
- Shift Premium: £15.81 per hour
- Night Shift: £16.85 per hour
- FLT (Days): £14.89 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Picking customer orders and supplying product to production cells
- Carrying out general warehouse duties
- Verifying stock availability and ensuring accurate order fulfilment
- Preparing shipments: assembling, addressing, labelling, and arranging transport
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving materials using appropriate material handling equipment
- Entering product data into warehouse systems and maintaining accurate shipment records
- Operating industrial trucks, including Bendi/Flexi, man-up order pickers, and counterbalance FLT
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Valid forklift certification (Bendi/Flexi, man-up order picker, and counterbalance FLT)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Good flexibility and reliability
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
