Adecco are proud to be recruiting for an Internal Account Manager on behalf of a growing and successful business in Sittingbourne, primarily supporting trade customers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, friendly team within a modern office environment, where you'll play a key role managing existing client relationships and supporting business growth.

The Role

  • This is a pure account management position - no cold calling or new business prospecting.
  • You will manage existing customers, support their needs, and ensure a smooth process from enquiry through to delivery.
  • Day-to-day duties include:
    • Managing a portfolio of existing trade customers
    • Handling incoming enquiries and orders (approx. 70% reactive / 30% proactive)
    • Following up on quotations and building ongoing relationships
    • Compiling and sending customer quotations (full training provided)
    • Processing orders through CRM and ERP systems
    • Responding to customer emails, queries, and requests
    • Producing job orders and coordinating with operations
    • Providing delivery updates and ensuring excellent customer service throughout

About You

  • Previous experience in account management, sales support, or customer service
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and organised with attention to detail
  • Comfortable using CRM/ERP systems (or quick to learn)
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
