Are you a proactive and friendly individual with a passion for creating a welcoming environment? We are looking for a dedicated School Caretaker/Site Assistant to join a friendly school. We believe that a well-kept school is key to student success. You will play a vital role in ensuring facilities are safe, welcoming, and ready for students and staff.
If you enjoy maintenance work, have a range of DIY skills and would be interested in working in a school environment, this could be the role you have been looking for! As a School Caretaker/Site Assistant you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support, generally maintaining school facilities and opening/closing of the site. From overseeing routine repairs to managing facilities, you will be the go-to person for all things related to the school’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the day-to-day operations of the school
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities and DIY
- Assist with setup for events and activities
- Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors
- Manage security and safety measures - responsible key holder
You will work full time or part time hours - often a split-shift (early morning and afternoon), or occasionally a full shift. There may also be additional hours needed for functions or lettings.
