Our client is looking for an Estate Services Operative to provide cleaning and estate services across two sites in Shipston-on-Stour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean communal areas to a high standard, including lifts, stairwells, floors, walls and windows.
- Keep refuse areas clean, tidy and safe.
- Carry out litter picking and remove bulk rubbish and fly tipping.
- Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and in line with health and safety requirements.
- Use PPE and cleaning machinery correctly and report any faults or incidents.
- Follow risk assessments, COSHH requirements and other health and safety procedures.
- Assist with tasks such as snow clearance, gritting and minor repairs in communal areas when required.
- Manage and report cleaning materials and equipment.
- Use scheduling software to record daily activities.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as directed.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cleaning, estate services or similar role.
- Experience using cleaning machinery and equipment.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Physically able to carry out manual duties.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Basic DBS required.
Desirable:
- NVQ or equivalent qualification in Cleaning or Environmental Services.
- Willingness to obtain a relevant qualification during the assignment.
This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working across different sites.
