Role & Responsibilities: As a CNC Setting Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating CNC vertical machining centres within the Production Facility. Your key responsibilities will include: Operating CNC vertical milling machines to achieve high standards of quality and productivity. Adhering to the company's Health and Safety Policy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Maintaining exceptional housekeeping standards on the shop floor. Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes: Essential: A strong desire to grow into a career, not just a job. Passion and motivation to develop your skills and contribute to the team. High personal standards with a hardworking attitude. Flexibility and agility in your approach, along with being a team player. Enthusiasm for learning and embracing new skills. Experience: Apprentice trained or equivalent hands-on experience. Ability to set up new repeat parts and run/modify existing programmes and offsets. Proven capability to read and interpret complex product drawings and geometrical tolerances. Experience working to tight, accurate tolerances. Ability to operate multiple machines safely where applicable. Desirable: Engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualification. Previous experience in a steel machining precision environment.
