Contract Details: Temp To Perm, Full Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) 9am -5pm (can be flexible). Temporary contract for 3 months and then the opportunity for permanent thereafter.

What do you need to have?
- Senior Tax experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential to excel in this position.
- Tax Assistant experience: If you don't have senior-level experience, our client also welcomes candidates with over 5 years of experience as a Tax Assistant.
- Personal tax knowledge: Familiarity with personal tax is desirable for this role.
- Practise environment experience: Proficiency in tax within a practice environment is required.
Responsibilities:
- Tax Returns: Prepare and review personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and accuracy.
- Tax Computations: Calculate tax liabilities and inform clients of their tax obligations, while exploring potential tax savings.
- Filing Deadlines: Submit tax returns and payments on time to avoid penalties for late filings.
- Client Advisory: Provide tax planning advice to clients, helping them optimise their tax position and take advantage of available reliefs and exemptions.
- Tax Structuring: Advise clients on tax-efficient structures for their business operations and transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions.
- HMRC Enquiries: Resolve queries and investigations raised by HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business and tax needs.
- Training and Development: Support junior staff members through training and sharing best practises in tax compliance and advisory.
- Partner Support: Collaborate closely with partners, providing assistance on complex tax matters and contributing to strategic planning for clients.
- Collaborative Projects: Work with audit and accounting teams to deliver integrated services to clients, ensuring comprehensive consideration of their financial affairs.
