Overall Responsibility: The Senior Surveyor provides technical support to the Responsive Repairs Team and guidance as required including use of SOR, PPP inclusions and exclusions and technical diagnosis. This includes providing a high level of customer service to residents, ensuring a consistent approach across your team and assisting with the development and implementation of our customer experience strategy. Required to ensure there are sufficient systems in place to monitor Repair Surveyor workload, outputs and productivity while working within the repair responsibility guidelines and ensuring effective repairs are carried out. Providing a monthly report on the team activities to the Regional Property Manager. Ensuring that you and your team use systems and information available to maximise the benefits of information, delivering great services as safely as we can, checking and updating data as required.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

  • The Repairs Team role is to ensure reactive repairs are diagnosed and delivered within agreed timescales and be of excellent quality.
  • You will need to lead by example and be able to use analysis and trend identification on complaints to feedback to the team and contractors.
  • Assist the Regional Property Manager and Responsive Repairs Manager to achieve objectives and key performance indicators related to your service area.
