We are recruiting a Senior Service Charge Analyst to join a well established, values led housing organisation. This is a highly visible and influential role, where your expertise will play a critical part in ensuring service charges are accurate, transparent and fully compliant. You’ll work closely with both finance and operational teams, contributing to sound financial decision making and support in making a significant impact on the organisation’s operations.
The Role
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will take ownership of service charge calculations, budgeting and analysis, working closely with property and operational colleagues. You will play a key role in ensuring service charge income and expenditure are correctly allocated, clearly communicated and robustly evidenced.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing annual service charge budgets, forecasts and statements.
- Allocating communal and major works costs including repairs, cleaning, grounds maintenance, electricity and other shared services.
- Analysing variances between estimated and actual expenditure.
