We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Security Engineer to enhance the security posture and safeguard critical assets. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

You will:

  • Provide security leadership and guidance across delivery teams.
  • Assess security posture, controls, risks and compliance obligations.
  • Drive alignment to enterprise security requirements and secure-by-design principles.
  • Support continuous improvement of security capability and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage security protocols and solutions to protect the organisation's systems and data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and technology advancements to proactively enhance security measures.
  • Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for remediation.

Skills:

  • Previous experience shaping how security is engineered into everyday work - from threat modelling and architecture at design time to hardened, monitored systems in production.
  • Proven experience with security frameworks, standards, and methodologies.
  • Strong Secure SDLC knowledge and experience.
  • Cloud-native experience across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
  • Experience owning security capabilities end-to-end.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
